UPDATE 15 JUNE 2020.
We have huge demand for Wraps via World Vision, the Australian-Syrian Refugee Service, local aged care services, and the Armenian Christian Mission. Usually we have more than enough stock to pass on but obviously the Covid lockdown has affected all deliveries.
So, if you are sitting on a pile of Wraps or squares, please send them in as soon as possible. Or contact us if you need a pick-up. Lots of demand for squares to sew up too and don’t worry if you have run out of labels, we can sew them on in the warehouse.
Hope you are all well and knitting and crocheting has kept you happily occupied.
Best wishes.
UPDATE 29 MAY 2020.
We continue to operate with a skeleton staff and as described below.
Wraps and squares are dribbling in very slowly to the warehouse. If you want to pick up squares for sewing up, please ring or email us and we will create a list and call you when we have squares to hand out. Thank you to everyone for continuing to create for us in your isolation bubbles, we hope it is keeping you happily occupied.
All the best.
9 May 2020: Good news everyone – our Committee has decided to re-open the warehouse from Wed 13th May. We will open on Wednesdays and Fridays only, between 9.30am and 12.30pm with a skeleton staff. This will be assessed on a weekly basis.
To ensure that we can operate safely, we are setting up the following processes:
If you are making a delivery, we will have a table at the warehouse door where you can hand over your delivery. Please include your name and details with your delivery.
If you want to collect squares and/or labels, please email us ahead of time so that we can have the items ready for collection at the door.
We look forward to seeing you all very soon!
In the meantime please keep safe and healthy. Wishing you and your families all the best.
